Text Outline

Sets the width of the outline to draw around the text.

By default, this value is 0, which draws no outline. If defined, the outline is drawn inside the edges of the text.

A whole number is a width in pixels. A decimal from 0 to 1 inclusive is read as a fraction of the font size instead, so txt-line=0.05 scales with the text rather than staying fixed. Before September 30, 2026 a decimal here meant pixels, so txt-line=0.8 was a 0.8 px outline and is now 0.8 em. Use txt-line[N] to override this for a specific text layer — bare txt-line applies to every layer by default.
